Winter Semester Begins January 7th

Mixed-Age Classes
Mixed-age classes are for children ages 0-5 with their parents or caregivers. A mixed-age setting allows children to develop at their own pace the basic skills of singing in tune and keeping an accurate beat. Since there is no set age for these skills to be acquired, these classes provide a non-performance opportunity for musical exploration that the whole family can enjoy. Activities include playing rhythm instruments, having fun with fingerplays, and singing and dancing to music of different meters and tonalities.
Classes run 45 minutes once a week.

Curriculum
Kids' MusicRound SongRounds are rotated over a three-year period. The registration of a semester is the total educational experience of a well-designed and research-based early childhood music curriculum combined with quality, professional instruction.

Materials
As part of tuition, each family will receive one CD and a login to our KMR Family Portal to allow you to download the class songs and the workbook*. Special care is taken when arranging the material to include traditional, original and world folk songs. *There is no workbook for summer session.

Make-up Policy
Make-up classes are not guaranteed each semester but will usually be offered at the end of a session. Consistency and predictability are very important to young children. We encourage you to attend your scheduled class.
